How the Recommendation Engine Works

Every time you complete a task, our BKT engine recalculates your proficiency across all micro-skills.

When you enter the Lobby, the backend queries your lowest-mastery skills.

1. It identifies your top 3 weakest atomic skills.
2. It cross-references our item bank to find high-quality official or simulated tasks that specifically test those weak points.
3. It presents these tasks as Recommended Tasks, complete with the exact reason they were recommended (e.g., “Targeting weakness: Sentence Simplification”).

Tip

Cold Start Phase: If you are a completely new user with no data, the system will temporarily use the ELO algorithm and present a baseline diagnostic set to quickly map your ability over the first few tasks.

Skill Map & Profile

Inside your User Profile, you can view your Proficiency Radar Chart. It visually represents your current estimated score and your percentile rank against other global test-takers in Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing.
